Bryant's Evolution Control system has won the coveted Gold Dealer Design Award sponsored by The News, the HVAC/R weekly contractors magazine.
This award is unique in its recognition of companies that go the extra mile to ensure their products are designed with dealers, contractors, and service technicians, as well as consumers, in mind. HVAC/R manufacturers had submitted more than 150 products for consideration in 10 award categories.
Bryant won the Gold in HVAC Residential category and had the highest overall point total among all of the entrants, regardless of category. In the area of, "overall installation and service benefits to the contractor", the Evolution Control system earned a perfect score from three of the judges. One contractor commented, "This is cutting edge technology that will surely change the industry." While another contractor said, "I have installed one of these and it was very simple to install."
Each entry was reviewed and scored by five independent contractors, who focused on design features that assisted in installation, maintenance, and service, as well as quality and performance.

Evolution Control System
The Evolution Control system is an easy to use, programmable comfort control system, providing integrated temperature, humidity, IAQ, ventilation and zoning control from one location. Many of its features have been designed keeping the dealers in mind such as the four wire, color-coded connections that help dealers save on installation time and dramatically reduce callbacks.
The controls also feature information-rich screens that display operating status and fault history, to help technicians diagnose the issues with the system. It also double as service tools. Technicians can get system wide diagnostic information without entering the home by connecting a second Evolution Control to the outdoor unit. The controls can also be unattached from its back plate on the customer's wall and reconnected to any piece of Evolution equipment to help facilitate the troubleshooting process.
